Nicholas Walter was editor of the New Humanist. He was famously and anarchist and wrote in the era of Mary Whitehouse became a key figure in campaigns for free speech and authored Blasphemy in Britain (RPA 1977) and Blasphemy Ancient and Modern (RPA1990)
