About New Humanist

A quarterly magazine of ideas, science and culture, New Humanist brings together expert views and writers on the issues that matter. Since 1885.

New Humanist is for anyone who wants to understand the concepts, conflicts and systems shaping our world today—from climate and technology to ideology, fundamentalism and struggles for equality. We produce a beautiful colour magazine once every three months full of original writing, essays, reportage and reviews—as well as cartoons, columns and a cryptic crossword. Subscribe to our print and digital editions.

New Humanist is published by Humanists UK.
