David Bate

David Bate is Reader in Photography at the University of Westminster. His numerous publications include Photography and Surrealism: Sexuality, Colonialism and Social Dissent (I. B. Tauris, 2003), and Photography After Postmodernism: Barthes, Stieglitz and the Art of Memory (forthcoming from Tauris in 2013).
