Stan Cohen
Stan Cohen who died on 7 January 2013, was Emeritus Professor of Sociology at LSE in the Department of sociology, Mannheim centre for criminology. He published widely including Folk Devils and Moral Panics ((1972, Routledge), Escape Attempts (Penguin, 1976) (with Laurie Taylor) and most recently States of Denial: Knowing About Atrocities and Suffering (Polity Press, 2001).
