Ophelia Benson is a writer and editor of the secular website Butterflies and Wheels. She is a columnist for Free Inquiry and The Philosophers’ Magazine, where she was formerly an associate editor, and she has co-authored (with Jeremy Stangroom) several books, including The Dictionary of Fashionable Nonsense (Souvenir Press, 2004), Why Truth Matters (Continuum, 2007), and Does God Hate Women? (Continuum, 2009).
